All too often brands focus on the visual design of a retail environment alone, failing to understand the true emotional drivers of a customer experience and how these are driven across multiple senses. In this session we will:
• Look at the over-reliance on the sense of sight
• Explore our emotional relationship to brand experiences across multiple senses
• Introduce the concept of Super-additivity and Cross-modality
• Carry out some exercises which introduce us to the opportunities to some retail formats
• Be inspired by interesting and surprising case studies
